Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Reservations Staff to join our team. As a Reservations Staff you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the hotels reservations process ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they make their booking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle all incoming reservations via phone email or online booking platforms

- Assist guests in choosing the best room type and packages to suit their needs

- Process reservations accurately and efficiently ensuring all guest information is entered correctly

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all special requests and preferences are met

- Monitor room availability and make necessary adjustments to maximize occupancy

- Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the hotels facilities services and policies

- Handle cancellations and modifications to reservations in a timely and professional manner

- Maintain accurate and organized records of all reservations and guest information

- Collaborate with the sales team to promote special offers and packages to potential guests

- Handle guest complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area at all times

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent college degree preferred

- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is an advantage

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong customer service skills and a friendly approachable demeanor

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is a plus

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism

- Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
