Construction Assistant Project Manager

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Southern California Water Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project planning and coordination with Owner and Subcontractors
• Develop and maintain lookahead construction schedule
• Safety and quality control management including scheduling of third-party inspection
• Accurate forecasting and management of budgets
• Change order management
• Manage critical subcontractors
• Manage Project Engineers
• Develop proposed resolutions for differing site conditions
• Perform constructability reviews throughout design phase
• Manage submittals and ensure specification compliance
• Develop RFIs and collaborate with design team on expedited resolution
• Obtain required encroachment permits and coordinate with city inspectors
• Maintain vehicle equipment and tools management

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 years of experience
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Previous pipeline construction experience preferred
• Ability to establish relationships and lead people
• Specific roles may require relocation
• Proficient in Word Excel CMiC Primavera Bluebeam
• Salary Range: $99000 - 149000/Yr
