The position of Laboratory Assistant is within our Rapid Diagnostics laboratory located at Abingdon.
The Laboratory Assistant will facilitate the timely accurate processing and management of biological samples submitted from customers for toxicological analysis. Such samples may comprise of oral fluid and hair and it is the responsibility of the Laboratory Assistant to route the samples for the appropriate analytical tests based on the specific requirements of our customers. Samples must be opened their details entered into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and prepared for testing whilst adhering to Chain of Custody procedures at all times to preserve the integrity of the sample.
