The Opportunity: Technical Assembler II

Primary Function:The Technical Assembler II performs a variety of complex builds for our diverse customer base. Tasks may consist of working from production blueprints digital work instructions parts lists and verbal instructions to perform various mechanical assembly functions as needed based on customer requirements.

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Essential Functions:
  • Assembles component parts by following work instructions
  • Reads and understands basic blueprints.
  • Knowledge of 5S principles
  • Uses precision measuring tools such as calipers thread gauge and feeler gauge
  • Reviews completed items to quality specifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • High school / equivalent or a 2 year technical education
  • Prior knowledge of hand or power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with wire boards schematics production blueprints are a plus
  • Clean room experience a plus

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $17.00- $22.00 per hour. The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational requirements.
