Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling testing and troubleshooting products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This role requires the ability to follow technical instructions use hand tools and perform mechanical assembly tasks while maintaining accurate labor records and supporting continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble components across multiple product lines using appropriate tools and fixtures.
Test assembled products to ensure proper functionality and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assembly and product testing.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to identify components and assembly requirements.
Use hand tools and rework techniques to complete mechanical assemblies.
Operate assembly equipment and ensure correct dimensioning and tolerances for mechanical parts.
Record labor transactions and maintain accurate production documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives using manufacturing system principles and tools.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Must pass a physical agility test lifting up to 75 lbs.
Ability to perform physical tasks required in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
