- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor and manage cash flow.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist with account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
- General Ledger Management:
- Oversee and manage the general ledger.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances.
- Develop financial forecasts to support business planning.
- Auditing and Compliance:
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare and submit necessary compliance reports.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights.
- Prepare reports on financial performance and suggest improvements.
- Support strategic decision-making with financial data.
- Tax and Regulatory Filings:
- Prepare and submit tax filings in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Manage and resolve any tax-related issues.
- Collaboration and Support:
QualificationsWhat You Need to be Successful:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
