Tendium is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering teams and drive the delivery of high-quality scalable technical solutions that support our strategic goals.

The Job
As Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading one engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and technical solutions. You will play a key role in aligning engineering execution with Tendiums business and product strategy.
This is a people-focused leadership role with strong technical ownership. You will coach support and develop engineers while also collaborating closely with Product Management and other stakeholders to plan prioritise and deliver development initiatives.
You will contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy ensure technical excellence across our systems and continuously improve team processes efficiency and developer experience. You will also be involved in recruitment onboarding and retention of engineering talent and act as a role model for Tendiums engineering culture and values.
What Youll Do
Lead coach and develop an engineering team to foster high performance engagement and professional growth
Ensure planning execution and delivery of development initiatives in close collaboration with Product Design and other stakeholders
Promote technical excellence scalability security and reliability across Tendiums systems and services
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
Manage team capacity priorities and ways of working to improve efficiency and delivery predictability
Support recruitment onboarding and long-term retention of engineers
Foster a collaborative inclusive and innovative engineering culture aligned with Tendiums values and business objectives

We work in an agile product-focused environment with teams that have end-to-end ownership of their solutions. Our development teams are cross-functional and self-reliant covering backend frontend infrastructure and DevOps capabilities.
We value pragmatic decision-making continuous delivery and high-quality solutions without over-engineering. We believe great ideas can come from anywhere whether its about what we build or how we work and you will have real influence over both.
We are primarily looking for Stockholm-based candidates and work in a hybrid setup.
Our Tech Stack
While this role is not a hands-on coding position technical understanding is important. Our current stack includes:
Backend: (TypeScript) GraphQL (microservice architecture)
Databases: PostgreSQL OpenSearch DocumentDB (MongoDB) S3
Infrastructure: AWS with containerised and serverless compute managed through TypeScript CDK
Languages: TypeScript (backend and infrastructure)
