As our Controller Direct Sales (d/w/m) you are the compass for our retail and merchandise team. You dont just report on what happened; you tell us why it happened and what should happen next. By consolidating data from events e-commerce and other channels you provide the insights needed to optimize stock pricing and assortment. You bridge the gap between Finance and Controlling to our direct sales oder merchandise team ensuring our growth is backed by solid numbers.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis & Optimization
- The Source of Truth: Consolidate clean and analyze merchandise sales data across all channels (Event Retail Online Store Partners).
- Trend Spotting: Identify sales trends and opportunities to optimize product assortment pricing strategies and stock replenishment.
- Performance: Evaluate product performance across different markets and platforms to understand regional preferences.
Planning & Forecasting
- Crystal Ball: Provide data-driven insights to support order planning demand forecasting and annual budgeting.
- Inventory Logic: Help balance stock levels to maximize availability while minimizing overstock risks.
Reporting & Visualization
- Dashboards: Build and maintain clear actionable reports using visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker) for stakeholders and management.
- Data Integrity: Ensure high data quality consistency and accuracy across all reporting tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- The Bridge: Partner with IT and Ops to improve data pipelines and system integrations.
- Finance Alignment: Collaborate with Finance Controlling and Accounting on invoicing processes and inventory reconciliation.
YOUR PROFILE
- Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science Business Analytics Economics or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a data or business analytics role. Ideally within Retail Sports or Consumer Goods (FMCG).
- Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must. Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau Looker Studio). Experience with SQL and/or Python is a strong plus.
- Retail IQ: Solid understanding of sales metrics (sell-through conversion) margins and inventory KPIs.
- Communication: You can translate complex data into clear actionable recommendations for non-tech stakeholders.
- Language: You speak English on C-Level; German is a plus.
- Passion: You love fitness sports and making decisions based on facts.
