Job Summary
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute plant-level strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction yield enhancement productivity improvement and profitability.
Identify opportunities for technology upgradation process innovation and operational excellence.
Plant & Operational Management
Oversee complete plant operations including melting (Arc Furnace) moulding casting fettling heat treatment machining inspection and dispatch.
Ensure efficient production planning scheduling and execution for railway parts and steel castings meeting delivery quality and cost targets.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as yield recovery rejection rates productivity energy consumption and throughput.
Ensure adherence to statutory safety environmental and railway industry standards.
Quality Inspection & Compliance
Ensure compliance with railway standards and customer specifications for critical components.
Oversee inspection testing and quality assurance systems to minimize rejections and customer complaints.
Implement robust systems for root cause analysis and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Cost Optimisation & Productivity Improvement
Lead initiatives for cost optimisation across raw materials consumables energy manpower and maintenance.
Improve metal yield reduce scrap and rework and enhance overall plant productivity.
Drive lean manufacturing TPM and best manufacturing practices
