Job Summary

Introduction

We are looking for a qualified HVAC Technician(NQF6) to join our Engineering team for a large manufacturing concern in Johannesburg South and ensure the smooth operation of critical utilities across our facility. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise and leadership ability.

Key Requirements:

Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical systems supporting SAHPRA/FDA/PICs requirements
- Experience in managing equipment calibrations change controls deviations and risk assessments
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent technical fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in predictive and preventative maintenance
Leadership & Management:
- Supervisory experience leading technical teams
- Ability to manage capital projects plant modifications and financial planning
- Skilled in policy drafting and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems Chillers Cooling Towers Boreholes Water Reticulation Systems and related utilities
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls instrumentation and planned maintenance in critical environments
- Experience with SOP drafting Qualification Validation and compliance with GMP/GEP standards
Education: BEng/BTech/National Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
