We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC / MEP Draughtsman to join our Engineering Department. This role is ideal for a detaildriven specialist with strong knowledge of CAD and BIM platforms capable of producing precise technical drawings to support construction installation and engineering design workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities
WHAT YOULL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
As an HVAC / MEP Draughtsman your expertise will support accurate project planning and delivery. Expect to:- Develop detailed HVAC/MEP drawings for construction and installation.
- Produce system layouts component detailing and workshop drawings in line with project requirements.
- Confirm the accuracy of supplied construction and workshop information to generate compliant MEP drawings (ISO 9000).
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the drawings register.
- Ensure all required equipment specified by engineers is correctly listed in drawings.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to gather technical and project requirements.
- Perform drawing office admin including archiving designs and maintaining document control.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experience:
- 5 years experience as an MEP/HVAC Draughtsman.
- Experience within the South African building services or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction detailing.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree (Mechanical/Electrical/MEP Draughting).
- Valid drivers licence.
- Portfolio or sample drawings required as part of application.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE WHAT SETS YOU APART
Technical Skills:
- High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (essential).
- Proficiency in Revit MEP (BIM) Navisworks and ACC (advantageous).
- Excellent understanding of spatial relationships dimensions and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of contract documents specifications and South African drawing standards.
- Understanding of SANS building services codes and submission requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 principles in a drawing office environment.
