Work Set-Up: Onsite onboarding for 24 weeks followed by a transition to a work-from-home setup.
Work Schedule: Day Shift (Following Australian Time Zone)
Salary Package: 40000 PHP to 50000 PHP/Monthly
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong CostX expertise to support measurement estimating and cost planning activities for projects within the Australian and New Zealand markets. The role requires a high level of technical competence in building measurement particularly structural elements and the ability to independently review and assure the quality of ones own work in fast-paced project environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates using CostX.
- Measure building elements in accordance with AIQS Standard Method of Measurement with particular focus on structural components.
- Interpret and analyze Australian construction drawings specifications and related documentation.
- Apply area measurement rules including GFA GBA and related metrics.
- Exercise professional judgement when working with incomplete or evolving documentation.
- Identify information gaps and prepare clear and concise RFIs as required.
- Perform self-checks and quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables.
- Manage assigned tasks to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients in clear professional English.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- Professional license is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Minimum of 35 consecutive years of hands-on quantity surveying experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CostX for take-offs and measurement.
- Prior experience supporting Australian or New Zealand construction projects.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of building measurement and structural elements.
- High attention to detail with the ability to independently verify work accuracy.
- Comfortable working under ambiguity and making sound professional judgements.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Well-organized self-directed and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
