Job Summary
Building Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilledBuilding Maintenance Technicianto assist in the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. This role involves routine and preventative maintenance of equipment as well as general facility repairs and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical plumbing HVAC and general maintenance with a proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems includingHVAC plumbing electrical and painting.
Assist withpreventative routine and emergency repairson facility equipment.
Maintain an inventory of repair tools and supplies.
Complete assignedwork ordersin a timely manner.
Develop knowledge of the facilityselectrical plumbing irrigation HVAC and security systems.
Ensure compliance withsafety regulations and company policies.
Contribute to apositive and efficient work environment.
Research and adapt tonew maintenance methodsto improve operations.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience usinghand and power tools.
Ability to workindependently and collaborativelyin a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Understanding ofmaintenance safety protocols and industry regulations.
Must pass abackground checkand maintain compliance with company policies.
Valid drivers licenserequired.
Must be21 years or older.
Ability to performphysical tasks including climbing kneeling lifting (up to 50 lbs or 100 lbs with assistance) and working on feet for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED(some college preferred).
2 yearsof experience in maintenance or a similar role.
Knowledge ofHVAC systems plumbing electrical work and general construction.
