What youll be doing
As a member of CIBCs team the Senior Analyst IT Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing processes. This role involves designing implementing and executing test strategies for both manual and automated testing collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing expert guidance on quality assurance best practices. Lead automation testing initiatives selecting appropriate tools and frameworks and developing automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage. Collaborate with developers business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and ensure testability of application features.

Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote.
How youll succeed
Execute Testing Activities-Analyze define and translate business and functional requirements use cases designs and specifications into testing requirements. Manage and coordinate end to end testing activities for small and large projects across many teams with both onsite and offshore resources.
Collaboration-Work with test leads business business analysts and development teams to establish test plans standards and procedures that add value to software project and satisfy the constraints of the project by reviewing project documentation.
Monitor and Reporting- Monitor project adherence to quality standards and track/provide progress testing status reporting as needed. Adhere to CIBCs processes through all phases of the software development life cycle-ensure test activities are compliant to test standards. Recognizing anticipating and resolving testing activities challenges during the testing life cycle.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 2-5 years of experience. In both manual and automated testing with a proven track record of leading automation testing initiatives. Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as ConformIQ Robot Framework Selenium and SOA in Java Python VBScript and SQL. Experience with Jira API testing Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integration. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
