2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days 100% FTE

Location: Mandan Public School District

Salary:Starting $55550 for Bachelors degree; starting $57072 for Masters degree. Full benefit package included.

Position Summary:

• Mandan Public Schools is currently seeking a Special Education LD Instructor. This position will provide support and instruction to students having academic physical and/or behavioral needs with a focus on students with learning disabilities.

Essential Functions:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Use individualized academic strategies for reinforcement and instruction techniques to keep students on the path toward greatness.
• Create and execute individual education plans for each of the students in your care.
• Communicate with other staff and family members about each students progress and programing needs.
• Lead or participate in IEP (individual education plan) meetings as scheduled .
• Invite family members to participate in each students educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports.
• Create a safe productive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board with a Special Education Endorsement or eligible for a plan on file.
