RN Special ProceduresObserves evaluates and coordinates the care given to patients in the Special Procedures department. Participates in direct and indirect care of all related activities according to the policies procedures philosophy and mission of the department performs before- during- and after-care of invasive interventional and therapeutic procedures/studies to treat cardiac and vascular arterial venous and structure heart disorders cardiac rhythm abnormalities to implant and remove devices and leads and conduct therapeutic cathartic ablations. If you use this department do not use 759008 (Electrophysiology).

Variable Shift - M-F start 7am 8am or 9am (Staggered shifts). Call Schedule - anything after hours days of the week depends on the week 1 or 2 days a week 1 or 2 weekends a month (every other weekend). Nurses float to the CV holding (Pre opp/post opp). Scrub Color - they provide onsite. Manager will call and and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredRegistered Nurse experience with critical care experience or medical-surgical or experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure department: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification: RequiredAdvanced Electrocardiogram (EKG) certification: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): RequiredHospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
