Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Special Processing Maintenance Technician to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components. This position supports facilities and special processing equipment within an aerospace manufacturing environment. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities

Inspect facility and processing equipment to identify performance issues and preventative maintenance needs
Perform cleaning lubrication adjustments and minor repairs on plant equipment and systems
Assist with maintenance of wastewater treatment (WWT) heat treat plating and HVAC systems
Support installation relocation and dismantling of equipment and machinery
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace components as necessary
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in CMMS software
Follow written procedures work instructions and safety requirements
Assist senior technicians and facilities staff with larger repair projects
Maintain safe and clean working areas in compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards

Must-Have Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 2 years of Maintenance Technician experience
Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
Experience working with facility systems such as HVAC pumps plumbing electrical or industrial processing equipment
Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Experience using basic computer systems and documenting work performed

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree or trade/apprenticeship training in maintenance mechanical or electrical field
Experience supporting heat treat plating or wastewater treatment equipment
Ability to read wiring diagrams and P&ID drawings
Familiarity with CMMS maintenance tracking systems
Knowledge of electrical plumbing and mechanical systems
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs intermittently
Strong safety awareness and problem-solving ability
