Job Summary: Corporate Auditor Assistant
- Assist corporate auditors and management with audits and amended tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with Arizona tax laws rulings and case law.
- Complete medium to large audits and review the work of other auditors.
- Analyze data to identify potential audit leads.
- Review and update audit procedures as needed.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Participate actively in team meetings and huddles.
- Utilize strong multitasking communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Google Workspace.
- Apply creative problem-solving and maintain goal-oriented organization.
- Requires at least 1 year of experience in corporate tax return preparation or auditing with a governmental agency or accounting firm; preference for expertise in corporate tax return filing/auditing.
- Requires a college degree in accounting or a related field; bachelors degree or higher preferred.
- Offers flexible hours and is primarily remote with some onsite requirements (must attend the first day of orientation in person).
- Pre-employment checks required; office located at 1600 W. Monroe Phoenix AZ 85007.
- Includes 2-3 weeks of training (onsite first day then remote); remote interviews available.
