Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Lawyer based in Portugal who specializes in immigration residency and foreign nationals legal matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Portuguese immigration law and proven experience assisting foreign individuals and families with residency permits visas and legal compliance in Portugal.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal consultation to foreign clients regarding Portuguese residency and visa options (D7 Digital Nomad Golden Visa Family Reunification etc.).
- Prepare review and submit residency and immigration applications.
- Represent or assist clients with AIMA / SEF-related procedures and appointments.
- Advise clients on legal requirements related to tax residency NIF NISS and social security (when applicable).
- Ensure full compliance with Portuguese laws and regulations.
- Communicate clearly with international clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with notaries public offices and other legal professionals when required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Licensed lawyer in Portugal (registered with Ordem dos Advogados).
- Proven experience in immigration and residency law.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures for foreign nationals.
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
- Client-oriented reliable and detail-focused.
