Key Tasks

• Perform design development and testing of application software for Quantum Key Distribution in languages such as Java Kotlin Python C languages
• Decompose system requirements and adapt software microservices architecture for specific missions.
• Define and implement APIs; model systems using UML.
• Support CI/CD automation (BitBucket/Git Artifactory Bamboo).
• Ensure timely completion of technical tasks and create documentation.

Must Have

• Strong experience with microservices architecture including design deployment and orchestration of distributed systems
• Expertlevel Java and/or Kotlin development experience
• Solid understanding of API design and integration (REST gRPC GraphQL) and frontend collaboration (e.g. React)
• Background in distributed systems and security including cryptography and key management
• Fluent English and a Masters or PhD in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related field

Nice-to-have

• ECSS Standards experience
• Familiarity with space/aerospace systems
• Expertise in Python C languages
• Development / test environment setup
