For more information please visit is anon tenure-track Instructional Assistant Professor (9-month faculty position; 3-year appointment with the possibility of renewal based on annual evaluations and performance). Primary duties will includeteaching 15 semester credit hours (the equivalent of five courses) per semester in various modalities including face-to-face and online undergraduate courses and online graduate courses. Duties also includementoring students and providing service on departmental college university and professional committees. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold adoctorate in Special Education or a related field. ABDs will also be considered but must have earned a doctorate before appointment. All specializations will be considered. We strongly encourage candidates with a strong record of working in the Special Education field in the public school setting the ability to teach in areas that complement/strengthen our programs hold State of Texas Special Education Teacher Certification and/or Educational Diagnostician Certification preferred.
