Position Summary
The primary function of Inventory Control is to manage inventory through database and maintain levels required daily to meet distribution demands.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations inventory and cycle count adjustments into computer database. Close shop packets received and purge computer database. Receive and issue finished goods into computer database. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Strong Microsoft office skills

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in stationary position in an office environment: 60% Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and warehouse. Will frequently move about inside the office to access files office machinery etc.
- Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
- Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

- Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $22.16 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including but not limited to the position being offered location education training and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs commissions car allowance or automobile and fuel program and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
