Job Summary

Full Time Fixed Term Contract - 6/6/2027
80 hours per fortnight - Inclusive of ADO Accrual

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.

This role will be responsible for leading the Switchboard Emergency Reception Private Patient Liaison and Relieving Clerical position is based within the People and Corporate Operations team and reports to the Executive Director People and Corporate Operations.

The successful candidates must be able to work well under pressure with competing demands be competent in clinical and administrative settings and be familiar with medical terminology and privacy principles. The ability to work as a team member within a small and enthusiastic team is essential.

Preferred experience for this role:

Patient registration and admission
Billing processes
Patient management system preferably Vital
Understanding of emergency/code responses in health setting
Rostering experience.
