Job Summary

Fleet Cost & Performance Analysis

  • Conductcost control and budget performance analysisfor fleet operations including fuel maintenance and spare parts.
  • Track and analyzevehicle operating costsand highlight cost-saving opportunities.
  • Periodically reviewspare part pricingagainst market benchmarks to ensure optimal quality and cost efficiency.

Fleet Operations & Maintenance Support

  • Support the design and monitoring ofvehicle maintenance and fuel management programs.
  • Maintain and analyzevehicle servicing and inspection recordsto anticipate maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in developing and tracking themonthly preventive maintenance schedulefor all company vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicle availability and utilization to support operational efficiency.

Data Tracking & Reporting

  • Track fleet performance metrics usingGPS and telematics systems including: Vehicle availability Idle time Speeding and driving behaviour incidents
  • Generateweekly and monthly fleet performance reportswith insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet databases and dashboards.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Supportvehicle registration and licensingprocesses to ensure full legal compliance.
  • Ensure all fleet documentation (insurance inspections licenses) is properly tracked and up to date.
  • Assist with audit preparation by providing fleet data and compliance records.

Operational Support

  • Analyzedriver schedules and routing datato identify opportunities for productivity and efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Manager and Logistics team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making in fleet expansion or replacement planning.


  • BSc / HNDin Supply Chain Management Logistics Operations Management or a related field.
  • Additional certification or qualification inLogistics Fleet or Supply Chain Managementis an advantage.
  • 35 years experiencein fleet operations logistics analysis or transport management.
  • Strong understanding ofdistribution and logistics operations.
  • Stronganalytical and numerical skillswith attention to detail.
  • Proficiency inMS Exceland fleet management / GPS tracking systems.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on cost optimization and efficiency.
