Internal Responsibilities:
Trade Processing and Settlement: Ensure accurate and timely processing of all trades including order entry order matching trade execution and trade settlement.
Account Maintenance: Maintain and close customer accounts ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Corporate Actions Processing: Handle corporate actions such as dividends stock splits and mergers ensuring that customer accounts are updated accordingly.
Reconciliation: Perform daily weekly and monthly reconciliations of all accounts and transactions ensuring that all records are accurate and complete.
Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws regulations and industry standards related to stockbroking operations.
Risk Management: Implement and monitor risk management procedures to identify assess and mitigate operational risks.
Additional Activities: Processing of global search intermember transfers change of name & correction of name requests account consolidation request Allotment. processing etc.
External Responsibilities:
Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to resolve account-related issues and provide account updates.
Work with clearinghouses custodians and other financial institutions to ensure the smooth flow of transactions.
Respond to regulatory inquiries and provide information to regulators as needed.
Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date on the latest developments in the stockbroking industry
- Bachelors degree in economics Accounting or other related numerate discipline.
- 1 - 3 years in the equity market is desirable.
- Membership of a relevant Professional Body is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- High sense of ownership autonomy and self-motivation.
- Problem solving skills.
- High level of integrity and transparency in personal dealings
- Strong customer and service orientation
