Job Summary
SUMMARY:
The EHR Application Analyst I supports the implementation maintenance and optimization of the organizations electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role works closely with clinical and operational staff to understand workflow needs assist with system configuration troubleshooting issues and ensure the EHR supports safe efficient patient care. The analyst participates in testing documentation training support and ongoing enhancement of assigned applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
An Associates degree or higher is preferred with healthcare clinical or health ITrelated coursework considered a plus though relevant experience may be accepted in place of formal education. Candidates should have familiarity with EHR systems or healthcare software with experience using Athena One considered an advantage. Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills are essential along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. A basic understanding of healthcare workflows terminology and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and documentation standards is expected. Additionally proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and general computer literacy are required.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours per day. Manual dexterity articulate speech visual acuity and ability to hear.
