Responsibilities
- Perform cosmetic repairs and refinishing on alloy and steel wheels
- Sand prime and paint wheels using appropriate tools and techniques
- Inspect wheels for damage and determine the best repair approach
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customer regarding repair status
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automotive paint touch-up and detailing.
- Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding repair status
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
