Support Ops Software Engineer (Fidelity Labs Fidelity Private Shares)

The Role
The Support Operations Software Engineer at Fidelity Labs is a pivotal role for the continued success and growth of the Fidelity Private Shares. The Fidelity Private Shares team delivers innovative technology robust industry experience and expertise and seamless service to the start-up ecosystem through Fidelity Investments.
In this role you will be hands-on in the support delivery and success of the Fidelity Private Shares platform. Youll work closely with technical leads product and customer success teams to support our customers and inform the product as well as researching and developing new growth opportunities to expand on the strengths of the core technology.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Proven experience building deploying and supporting web applications in production with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python Javascript Java)
Understanding and experience working with source code management testing and CI/CD processes and tools such as Github and Jenkins
A customer-first mentality; a passion for engineering excellence; a desire to empower and collaborate with your teammates; a willingness to learn; and adaptability to new and changing requirements
Strong analytical technical and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions
A sense of ownership utilizing automation and tests to make sure code is robust as possible
Ability and desire to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
