Position Overview:

Join Siemens in Philadelphia as a Field Service Technician working hands-on with advanced Charger locomotives and Venture coaches. This job will train you on how to troubleshoot repair and implement field modifications working directly with customers to achieve reliability and satisfaction throughout the warranty period. Ideal candidates enjoy technical challenges and learn about electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Commission and support warranty operations for locomotives and coaches
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Use diagnostic software and laptops for system assessments
Interpret mechanical drawings schematics and circuit plans
Document failures repairs and modifications
Implement Field Modifications (FMIs) to improve quality
Communicate with team members and site leads
Follow all company and industry safety procedures
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
To thrive in this role you have:

High school diploma (or GED)
Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Individuals must possess a valid Drivers license in good standing
Ability to read and understand schematics maintenance repair and FMI documents
Must have basic computer skills and work in Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus
Must be willing and open to working various shifts and days off
Candidates must be able to work independently and without much supervision
Ability to work safely report hazards and recognize risks

The base salary range for this position in Pennsylvania is $56712.00- $76602.00. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidates experience knowledge skills and qualifications.
