EYFS Practitioner Teaching Assistant
Location: Hampstead North London
Salary: 25280 per annum
Start: January 2026

A highly regarded independent preparatory school in Hampstead is seeking an experienced EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-achieving environment where pupils are motivated curious and academically ambitious from a very young age.

The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils as they prepare for their 4 assessments. The school delivers a curriculum that is typically one year ahead of most state schools in London with a strong emphasis on early literacy numeracy and confidence building.

The role will involve:

• Supporting EYFS pupils both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
• Assisting with structured preparation for 4 assessments

• Helping pupils develop early academic confidence focus and independence
• Working closely with class teachers and the wider Early Years team

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised EYFS or childcare qualification
• Has experience working within Early Years ideally in a school or nursery setting
• Understands early academic development and assessment preparation
