Job Summary

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach with daily practice organization and implementation
Provide consistent supervision of student-athletes during practices meets travel and team activities
Ensure athlete safety accountability and adherence to team and school expectations
Monitor attendance and communicate availability or concerns to the Head Coach
Support meet-day operations including warm-ups course supervision check-ins and post-race procedures
Reinforce positive behavior sportsmanship and team culture
Serve as a reliable and professional representative of Center High School

Qualifications

Dependable punctual and able to maintain a consistent presence throughout the season
Strong supervision and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff and school administration
Prior coaching or running experience preferred but not required
Must meet all district and MSHSAA coaching requirements

Commitment

Seasonal position aligned with the fall cross country season
Attendance at practices meets and required team events is expected
