The Tennis Student Manager supports the mens and/or womens tennis program byassisting with daily operations match-day logistics and administrative tasks. This role is
ideal for a motivated student interested in athletics sports management coaching or
collegiate athletics operations.
DEPARTMENT: Athletics
LOCATION: Alumni Gym
STUDENT SUPERVISOR: Brian Bowman
WORK AVAILABLE: DAYS X NIGHTS X WEEKENDS X
RATE OF PAY: $9.70/hr
PURPOSE/ROLE OF THE POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist coaches during practices and training sessions
-Set up and break down courts equipment and training aids
-Collect tennis balls and help maintain practice flow
-Help prepare courts for home matches (nets chairs scorecards)
-Support officials visiting teams and coaching staff as needed
-Help with post-match cleanup and equipment storage
-Assist with statistics score reporting and match results
-Help with social media content photos or videos (if applicable)
-Perform general office or administrative tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
-Currently enrolled student in good academic standing
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Ability to work early mornings evenings weekends and travel days
-Interest in tennis athletics or sports management
