Job Summary
Dematic is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated RFP Specialist to create high-quality RFP response drafts including Dematics exceptions and clarifications to customer specifications.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$65000 - $100000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Coordinate with the Dematic Specification Manager to ensure the latest and most accurate specifications and exceptions as they relate to RFP (Requests for Proposal) scopes of work.
- Read and understand customer RFPs including scopes of work solution requirements specifications and other attachments.
- Generate and Manage RFP Question & Answer (Q&A) log.
- Identify new or unique requirements to the team ensuring that they are addressed.
- Generate custom proposal drafts including customization of the latest exception and clarifications to the RFP scope of work.
- Coordinate with Solution Development Leaders (SDLs) sales and the customer to ensure accurate and timely RFP responses.
- Identify proposal template errors recommended improvements and customer specific customization to improve efficiency and correctness of proposals.
- Prepare weekly status reports for your assignments.
- Travel averages 1-2 department meetings per year.
What We Are Looking For:
- BS/BA or equivalent experience in related field. Certification may be required in some areas.
- Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. An Advanced degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for where applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to think through problems and visualize solutions lead direct empower and coordinate activities.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Dematics current documentation and presentation tools products and engineering processes.
- Demonstrated experience with Dematics legacy and new product lines for Tote Case and other types of Parcel Conveyance and sortation.
- Demonstrated experience in proposal generation.
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to stay current with the latest specification exceptions and clarifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines.
- Proven track record to reliably forecast and report on the status of efforts.
