As a Product Office Director within the Card CoBrand & Partner team you lead the prioritization planning and delivery of key initiatives that support our business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment transparency and progress across a dynamic portfolio of work. You will help us identify and resolve challenges drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of operational excellence. Together we create solutions that matter for our partners and customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the ongoing prioritization and planning process for the Card CoBrand & Partner portfolio ensuring initiatives are aligned with business strategy and objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust status reporting mechanisms to provide transparency on progress risks and issues across the book of work.
- Collaborate with Product teams to maintain and evolve the long-term product roadmap ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Establish and manage a framework of meetings governance routines and communication channels to ensure consistent alignment across key stakeholders including Product Technology Operations and external partners.
- Implement and oversee portfolio management processes including intake prioritization resource allocation and delivery tracking.
- Identify escalate and help resolve risks and issues impacting portfolio delivery.
- Drive process improvements and best practices in portfolio management leveraging data and feedback to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Project Management or related field.
- 10 years of experience in portfolio management program management or product management within financial services or a related industry.
- Proven track record of leading a team of resources accountable for managing complex portfolios and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with project management tools and reporting platforms (e.g. JIRA MS Project Tableau).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in credit card payments or loyalty/rewards businesses.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Prior experience in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
- PMP PgMP or similar project/portfolio management certification.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and process improvement initiatives.
