Context

You will join a global team responsible for theimplementation and evolution of a unifiedinternet platform (reporting and transactional) serving BNP Paribas Securities Services clientsworldwide.

This client-facing portal enables customers tomanage and monitor all operations related to their financial securitiesportfolio. The department operates as an AgileTribe structured into multiple squads following Scrum / SAFe methodologiesensuring continuous functional and technical improvements.

Mission

As a SeniorIT Business Analyst you will be part of one of the Agilesquads working closely with the ProductOwner architects and development teams to ensure businessneeds are accurately translated into high-quality functional specifications anddelivered efficiently.

You will work from Lisbon in a hybrid modelcollaborating daily with a multiculturalmulti-country global team.

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze prioritize and clarifybusiness requirements anticipating risks and assessing impacts

Translate business needs into clear structuredrequirements within the product backlog enabling short and iterativedevelopment cycles

Define solutions in collaboration with squad andtribe architects

Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteriaensuring alignment between business and technical teams

Validate user stories during development andcontribute to increasing testautomation coverage

Perform non-regressiontesting prior to production releases

Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)with end users

Create maintain and update documentationtailored to different audiences (Development Product Support)

Deliver training sessions when required

Required Technical Skills

Minimum 5years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software development environments

Strong experience translating businessrequirements into user stories usecases and technical specifications

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)including estimation planning requirements management quality assurance andrelease management

Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases

Strong ability to analyze data and understanddata relationships across business domains

Bachelors degree in Computer Science EngineeringInformation Systems or equivalent professional experience

Languages

English:Expert / Fluent (mandatory main working language)

Portuguese:Working proficiency
