The role

  • Part Time 30 hours per week Continuing
  • Level B - $91072 to $107972 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Port Macquarie

You will actively engage in teaching curriculum development work-integrated learning and student engagement related to the occupational therapy course in the School of Allied Health Exercise and Sports Sciences. You will also be expected to use blended models of subject delivery in teaching students liaise effectively with the stakeholders of the course and participate in administration and ongoing curriculum development.

The successful candidate must have sound experience in occupational therapy practice a commitment to regional rural and remote health and practice and capacity and willingness to contribute to supporting work integrated learning for occupational therapy students.

About you

  • A doctoral or masters qualification relevant to occupational therapy with current full registration as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of contemporary occupational therapy and a sound understanding of the Australian health system.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to course and subject design and to deliver high quality student-centred learning and teaching
  • Demonstrated capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders which contribute to establishing high quality learning experiences.
