Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Lead the Team of Supplier Quality Engineering
Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams and activities focused on purchased component risk reduction within the company supply chain. Must be willing to communicate and collaborate inside and outside of the organization daily.
Conduct on-site manufacturing technical assessments and quality system assessments at domestic and international supplier locations.
Coach suppliers using effective problem-solving techniques (8D 5 Whys fishbone) to ensure root causes are accurately identified and effective preventive measures are implemented.
Travel up to 50% (domestic and international) to perform supplier site assessments level 5 PPAPs and problem-solving workshops.
Should Have Previous experience on at least few Categories like Fabrication sheet Metal Electrical & Electronics Cylinders Hydraulics Decals Fasteners Electrical Drive Motors etc
Should have sound knowledge on Dimensional inspection techniques Interpreting CMM Reports and Understanding of Datum Targets and Datum Concepts.

Qualifications / Skill/ Experience / Competencies:

10 years of proven industry experience in the field of Quality Supplier Development from Automobile / Construction / OEMs Preferred
Experience with ISO9001 TS16949 or similar quality management systems and auditing practices.
Proficient in GD&T; able to read and interpret 2D technical drawings and 3D models
Knowledge of lean manufacturing waste reduction methods such as: Kanban jidoka poka-yoke heijunka kaizen is PreferredKnowledge on tooling design and welding sequencing could bring additional Preference

Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and related tools such as: DFMEA PFMEA control plans PPAP.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including fluency in both English and Hindi.
Demonstrated team player and collaborator.
