Job Summary

description:

Facilitates physicians performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile department includes all functions related to operating room services including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services inpatient and/or outpatient services and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU anesthesia functions pre op holding and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined please notify FP&A and we can map it to Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia to provide you with an appropriate benchmark.

requirement:

Day Shift 0630 to 1500 8-hour days 40 hours M-F; Total joint experience and Robotic is a must. BLS . Some call is req (ie: 3-7pm)Education and Work Experience:Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: RequiredRelevant acute care experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
