We need: A senior (10 years) Product Owner (Business Side NOT AN IT BUSINESS ANALYST) with extensive experience its Securities Lending (Stock Loan) Desk in managing and enhancing the FIS Securities Finance Processor (SFP) platform. This individual will play a critical liaison role between front-office stakeholders and technology teams to ensure the SFP platform meets operational trading and regulatory requirements. This is a high-impact role requiring deep knowledge of the securities lending business strong vendor management skills and an ability to define and prioritize platform enhancements that directly support trading Desk. Securities Finance workflows: trade capture recall return billing settlement and collateral management. FIS Securities Finance Processor (SFP) or a similar securities lending/trading platform. Regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. SFTR SEC 10c-1). **** THIS POSITION IS FOR A SECURITIES LENDING/SECURITIES DESK SME ON THE BUSINESS SIDE NOT JUST A LITTLE EXPERIENCE ON ONE OR TWO PROJECTS

Candidates must be LOCAL to the NEW YORK or NEW JERSEY area and COMMUTE into the office 5 DAYS A WEEK. NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED.

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced and business-savvy Product Owner to support its Securities Lending (Stock Loan) Desk in managing and enhancing the FIS Securities Finance Processor (SFP) platform. This individual will play a critical liaison role between front-office stakeholders and technology teams to ensure the SFP platform meets operational trading and regulatory requirements.

This is a high-impact role requiring deep knowledge of the securities lending business strong vendor management skills and an ability to define and prioritize platform enhancements that directly support trading desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner and subject matter expert for the FIS SFP platform responsible for roadmap enhancements and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary bridge between the Stock Loan desk (front office) and technology teams.
• Define and prioritize user stories manage the product backlog.
• Collaborate with FIS vendor contacts to track issue resolution release cycles upgrades and platform configuration.
• Support implementation of regulatory changes operational process enhancements and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
• Gather and document business requirements
• Troubleshoot system or trade-related issues in real time and escalate to appropriate teams or vendors.
• Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions with end users and support teams to improve platform adoption and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a Product Owner Business Analyst or Front Office Support role within a securities finance or stock loan environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with FIS Securities Finance Processor (SFP) or a similar securities lending/trading platform.
• Prior experience supporting or working directly with a Stock Loan desk in a trading environment.
• Excellent understanding of Securities Finance workflows: trade capture recall return billing settlement and collateral management.
• Strong familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts and downstream dependencies (e.g. settlement risk finance and compliance).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to interface with both front-office professionals and technical teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. SFTR SEC 10c-1) is a plus.
• Agile methodology experience (e.g. Scrum Kanban) is preferred.
