Orchestrate Branded Channels marketing with the objective of delivering sales target and forging enduring relationships with our Branded Channel partners.

Act as a key strategic partner for LEGO Retail echoing its voice within Global Branded Channels marketing strategy while ensuring consistency and reducing duplication!

This position is based in Denmark either in Billund or Copenhagen. Please note that relocation assistance is not available.

Core Responsibilities

Be the dedicated M&C Central Marketing responsible for Branded Channels and partner for LEGO Retail:

  • Partner with LEGO Retail to drive One BC Voice in global shopper efforts
  • Establish and implement legal compliance and brand consistency across all B2B branded channels
  • Define and manage B2B Branded Channels activation calendar to ensure consistency across all channels and alignment with global and LR priorities
  • Develop differentiated branded channel frameworks in partnership with Retail CoE and GCD teams
  • Deliver BC frameworks to campaigns briefs and asset requirements principles across Branded Channels
  • Translate retail performance and shopper behaviour data into insight-led recommendations for future branded channel marketing approach
  • Advocating for and articulating the value of Branded Channel initiatives within LEGO Retail business planning and strategy frameworks

Build strong collaboration with Global Commercial Development to identify key challenges and opportunities for Branded Channels. As a member of the Trade & Shopper leadership team support the establishment of the broader teams strategic priorities and provide leadership to all team members.

Monitor and report on the efficiency of Branded Channel marketing activities using key performance indicators to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement. Stay updated with industry trends best practices and new technologies using this knowledge to drive innovation and enhance marketing strategies.

Lead a team of three by setting clear goals and KPIs supporting development and maintaining a culture of motivation and inclusivity that fosters collaboration transformation and innovation.

The role is part of a newly established Trade & Shopper Marketing (TSM) team within Central M&C Marketing. TSM is dedicated to enhancing retail performance and delivering exceptional shopper experiences. The team will offer innovative tools toolkits and strategic guidelines to empower our Branded Channels to execute effectively and successfully.

The Branded Channels Director is responsible for ensuring consistent and compliant marketing across branded channels with tailored retail activations and visual merchandising. This role involves shaping the future of shopper and retail experiences as well as collaborating closely with Local Branded Channels representatives GMs BU Regional Commercial Development and Marketing to ensure strategic alignment and execution of shopper marketing initiatives across touchpoints.

Reporting to the VP of Trade and Shopper Marketing you will join a team of focused individuals whose mission is to provide outstanding shopper experiences and achieve commercial success.

Do you have what it takes

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing International Business or a related field or has equivalent experience with advanced degrees or certifications as a plus. They possess extensive retail marketing experience a proven ability to influence global strategic decisions and expertise in business review processes and executive-level reporting.

Moreover the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Expert in aligning global marketing initiatives with regional strategies to achieve targeted goals.
  • Skilled in cultivating and maintaining positive relationships across cross-functional and international teams engaging diverse partners effectively.
  • Exceptional communicator and presenter adept at engaging senior leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly proactive and analytical with expertise in market research data interpretation and strategic project planning; adept at balancing analytical and creative thinking.
  • Proven leader with the ability to inspire and develop team talents.
