The Opportunity:

We have multiple Class 5 Drivers position available within our Visy Logistics Intermodal Team. With Visy youre NOT just a driver. You are part of a team where your contributions are valued and your career can grow.

Routes:Auckland Wharf and Metro Auckland with occasional trips to Hamilton or Tauranga.
Locations: Based out of our site in Onehunga/Wiri.
Hours: min 40 hours per week full-time permanent shifts (5am start) and PM shifts available.

What youll do:

• Operate a Class 5 Container Truck for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What you will bring to the team:

• A valid Clean Class 5 Licence and Swing Lift certificate highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years recent experience operating Class 5 Skeletal Trailer Truck transporting containers is essential.
• Experience with Skully Tipping Swinglift Truck & Trailer Container Trailers is highly desirable.
• Sound knowledge of the Auckland/Tauranga Ports.
• Excellent communication time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
