Job Summary

Role Summary

The SAP Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry in SAP / ERP systems ensuring proper records of purchase stores production sales and inventory data. The role supports smooth plant operations through error free system updates and reports.

Key Responsibilities

Enter daily transactions in SAP / ERP related to Purchase Orders (PO) Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) Material Issue & Return Stock / Inventory updates Sales / Dispatch entries (if applicable)
Maintain accuracy and consistency of master data and transaction data.
Coordinate with Purchase Stores Production Finance and Sales teams for data inputs.
Verify supporting documents before data entry (PO GRN Invoices Issue Slips etc.).
Generate basic SAP reports related to stock purchase and transactions as required.
Ensure timely updating of entries to avoid system mismatch or delays.
Support internal and external audits by providing SAP data and reports.
Maintain confidentiality and data discipline as per company policy.

Skills & Competencies

Good working knowledge of SAP (MM / basic modules) or ERP systems
Strong data accuracy and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of Excel & MS Office
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
Disciplined organized and process-oriented approach
