General Manager Advantage Honda of Fox Lake
Join the Advantage Group one of the Chicago areas most respected automotive portfolios. Following the success of our Chevrolet Toyota andAcura locations we are expanding our footprint with a brand-new open point: Advantage Honda of Fox Lake. We are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead this flagship launch. This is a rare opportunity to build a dealership from the ground up shaping the culture hand-picking the team and establishing a dominant market presence in Lake County.
Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee all dealership operations including sales service finance and customer experience. This role requires strong leadership strategic thinking and a proven ability to achieve profitability and growth targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all dealership departments to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and service goals.
- Recruit train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive team-oriented culture that aligns with Advantage Hondas values.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership GM experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals.
- Excellent communication negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of dealership operations financial statements and compliance standards.
