As a Project Manager at Thomson Reuters youll take ownership of smaller-scale projects while working within our established governance framework. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographies and cultures ensuring successful delivery of solutions that matter to our business and customers. About the Role
In this opportunity as a Project Manager you will:
Define document and manage projectsfrom initiation through completion working with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and cultural practices
Deliver projects within scope time and cost constraintsto agreed quality standards adhering to the organizations governance and project management framework
Identify assess and manage project risksproactively to ensure successful outcomes and mitigate potential issues
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including cost estimates timescales and resource requirements while tracking activities against established baselines
Implement effective communication strategies and operating rhythms providing regular accurate reporting to stakeholders and maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor project performance metricsincluding costs timescales and resources taking corrective action when deviations from agreed tolerances occur
Manage change control processes building collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to gain agreement for revisions and secure commitment to decision-making
About You
Youre a fit for the role of Project Manager if you have the following required qualifications:
Proven experience managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle with demonstrated successful delivery
Strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships resolve team conflicts and build collaborative partnerships across diverse teams
Solid understanding of project management methodologies governance frameworks and change control processes
Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to estimate costs timescales and resource requirements accurately
Effective communication and reporting skills with experience implementing communication plans and maintaining stakeholder engagement
Demonstrated capability to monitor project metrics and take proactive corrective action when needed
Leadership abilities to motivate project teams support skill development and ensure team member success
Additional preferred qualifications include:
Project management certification (PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent)
Experience working in a global matrixed organization with cross-cultural teams
Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project Jira Confluence)
