Are you a hands-on property professional who thrives on building strong tenant relationships while driving asset performance
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Property Manager to take full responsibility for a mixed-use property in Kimberley. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual who can balance leasing financial oversight maintenance and client reporting while ensuring the asset is managed in line with agreed mandates and service standards.
Reporting to a Senior Property Manager this position plays a pivotal role in protecting value optimising income and delivering a high-quality experience for tenants and stakeholders.
Key duties include:
- Managing leasing activities including renewals vacancies and broker engagement
- Building and maintaining strong tenant relationships and resolving operational issues
- Overseeing maintenance inspections and capital expenditure in line with approved budgets
- Managing arrears legal handovers and tenant collections processes
- Preparing and reviewing budgets accruals and monthly financial reports
- Delivering accurate timely reporting and leading client meetings on portfolio performance
- Ensuring full compliance with the management contract and internal governance processes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Matric as a minimum with a degree in Property Studies or Accounting preferred
- 35 years experience in a similar property management role
- Strong knowledge of commercial property management leasing and budgeting
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail with strong Excel and financial analysis capability
- The ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work professionally with clients
