POSITION DUTIES

The main purpose of this position is to create and display commercial-quality photographs for use on the Comptroller of Maryland Unclaimed Property GovDeals website. The applicant should have experience with Photoshop editing software. Another function of this position is to assist with incoming calls through our call center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Three years of experience in photographic laboratory work including taking pictures.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute one year of training at a recognized school of photography for one year of the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute photographic work experience on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required high school education.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in PhotographyCameramanor Mass CommunicationsSpecialistclassifications orPhotography Journalism or Visual Information Equipment Operator specialty codes in thePhotographyfield of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

** For education obtained outside of the U.S. you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States please submit a detailed course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in photographic equipment chemistry and materials and operating all types of photographicequipment.
