Summary:
We are seeking a Linux Administrator to ensure the stability performance and security of our enterprise Linux servers and applications. The ideal candidate will manage multi-server environments automate routine tasks and proactively monitor systems to prevent downtime. This role requires hands-on expertise in Linux/Unix administration system troubleshooting and cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain Linux servers services and applications.
Monitor server performance system logs and security alerts to ensure optimal uptime.
Implement system patches updates and security configurations to protect servers and data.
Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve server storage network and application issues.
Manage user accounts permissions and security policies.
Participate in disaster recovery planning backup management and high availability solutions.
Collaborate with development networking and cloud teams for system integration and deployment.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations procedures and changes.
Stay up-to-date with emerging Linux technologies tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on Linux administration experience.
Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems shell scripting and system monitoring tools.
Experience with troubleshooting server storage and network issues.
Familiarity with system security best practices and access control.

Preferred Skills / Duties:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware KVM or Hyper-V.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios Zabbix Prometheus) and log management.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
