What we are looking for

Cavalier Ford Chesapeake Square is looking for a Parts Department trainee to be a member of our Parts Team. We are looking for someone to check in freight deliver parts part time while learning the parts counter as well as other duties of the Parts Department. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced and professional workplace.

Duties include the following:

. Check in overnight freight

. Deliver parts to local independent repair facilities

. Pick up parts from local dealerships

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner

Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status

Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts

Answer phone calls provide price quotes and other information to customers

Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate

Provide high level service to both internal and external customers

Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock

Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention

Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order if necessary

Receive payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization

Maintain accurate paperwork for customers and for our records

Identify and procure required parts for internal and external customers

Maintain clean work area

An Ideal Candidates must be:

Self-motivated Hardworking

Must be able to multi-task.

Lift bend and stand for long periods.

Must have excellent customer service skills

Must be a team player.

Ford Dealership experience helpful
