Advanced Electricity Networks are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered to time cost and quality while championing a strong and positive Health & Safety culture across all operations.
What you will be doing
- ICP Project Adoption: Manage the efficient adoption and delivery of ICP projects through to energisation in line with AEN standards.
- Health & Safety: Lead and enforce a strong health and safety culture ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Right to Make Live: Oversee the RTML process to ensure safe compliant and timely network connections.
- Fault Management: Manage fault response and restoration to maintain network reliability and customer confidence.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure all operations meet licence technical and accreditation requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with ICPs contractors DNOs and internal teams to drive performance.
What we are looking for
- A proactive professional with a strong can-do attitude and a commitment to first-class customer service.
- Proven operational experience within the utilities ideally within an IDNO DNO or ICP environment
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong technical audit capability with clear and concise report-writing skills.
- Hold relevant certifications including NRSWA SMSTS and CSCS.
- Demonstrated experience in promoting and sustaining a positive Health & Safety culture with sound knowledge of CDM and industry best practice.
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Solid understanding of fault management incident response and network restoration
