- Completion of the grade 12 including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices or a related area of specialization
- Alternatively completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school or college

Work Environment:

You will play a vital part in streamlining access control for City facilities and ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and service. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your supervisory skills and administrative expertise to support meaningful legal and security functions.
What will you do
- Supervise train and provide daily guidance to clerical staff including performance feedback and learning plan development
- Develop staff schedules and manage time-off requests and exception approvals
- Process security guard contract services invoicing and verify billing accuracy using Ariba and Google Sheets
- Manage card access requests and door clearance changes using specialized databases like POSSE and C-Cure
- Oversee branch-wide administrative tasks such as onboarding offboarding and reception
- Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities including fire warden scheduling and floor inspections
- Support Legal Services with file management hearing preparation and data entry for Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) requests
- Perform financial administrative tasks including creating cheque requisitions and reconciling credit card statements
